Rock Rose Entertainment is an Independent Film and Documentary production company. We specialize in scripted films that aim to entertain as well as enlighten simultaneously. Our Documentaries explore a variety of social issues, but primarily focus on alternative views of health and wellness in our modern society. The Hitching Post Theater is a monthly theatrical production, that is featured during Bolder Nights. 2 short plays, following one universal theme. What makes this event so extraordinary, is that the plays are written, rehearsed and performed all in the same day. This unique format is a specially designed platform for performing artists looking to refine their craft. With only 11 1/2 hours of pre-production, the end result is bold, creative and unrestrained artistic expression. Festivals
BolderLife Festival – Is proud to be producing this international festival which celebrates and explores the journey through life via film, theatre, music, art and educational programing. The festival was born out of LADmatters and will run September 20th through the 23rd 2012 in the beautiful city of Boulder, Colorado.
BolderLife Films – This event gives you a taste of the BolderLife Festival in an evening. The screening topics are set to inspire our audience to question paradigms and explore new ways of thinking, communicating….and living.
LADmatters – In 2011 Rock Rose produced this international festival September 1st and run through September 4th in the beautiful city of Boulder, Colorado.
ICCE – We are proud to announce the launch of a Colorado film series at the Nomad Theatre. This event, called the ”Indie Colorado Cinema Experience” (Pronounced “ice”), will be a quarterly film screening event which will feature films shot and produced in Colorado and/or filmed with Colorado crew. The purpose of this event is to help strengthen the Colorado film community as well as raise awareness to the various projects being produced within the state. The ICCE program will feature several local independent films followed by a short Q&A with the filmmakers.
If you are either a stage or screen artist looking to get involved with our productions, you have come to the right place. We are currently in development of several films, theatre projects and festivals and we’re always searching for new talent to join our collective. Auditions for new actors are held by monthly.
